Being faced with a possible theft of my equipment trailer, I needed to look for ways to secure it and make sure it stays put. This chock lock is AWESOME. It grabs hold of the wheel 14" wheel very well. It locks and hardly moves. The locking system is unique, to say the least.. in a good way, of course.
Description and pricing are misleading!

TCL65 is ideal for smaller wheels (ATV's, trailers, etc.). Cheaper, but larger/heavier TCL75 is for regular sized car and truck wheels. The descriptions originally listed on Amazon are incorrect.
DOES NOT WORK FOR ALL WHEELS!

This doesn't work for all tires. For instance this one in the picture. It fits on correctly, but as you can see this wheel type is allowed to rotate freely no matter how tight or where you place the boot. Someone could just drag my trailer wherever they wanted, forward or backward, and this boot would just drag around. This was not an immediate need for me, so I opened it and tried it out after the return date passed. Now I am stuck with it. It seems like it would be sturdy and work fine with the proper rim.
A better option than a tongue lock
on December 15, 2012
I first put a tongue lock on my trailer then realized that it really wouldn't deter anyone as the trailer can always be towed by its chains. This lock is much more effective, but not without some flaws. It can be hard to lock and unlock due to the position of the key against the tire. If you have a fender it can be a bit more work to gain access to the lock. Finally, if someone really wants your trailer they CAN drive it away a short distance with this attached (ask me how I know), but it will be noisy, slow and bumpy.
Easy to use, and works well

I leave a boat in my driveway, and it would be so quick and easy for someone to hook up to the trailer and drive it away. This, along with a toungue lock, gives me piece of mind for a relatively small price.
GET ONE.... OR TWO!!!

This is probabley the best protection for your rolling property. Wish I had of invested in one of these, wouldn't have had my car hauler stolen. LESSON LEARNED!!! Cheap items, little protection. Better quality, well made, a little more expensive, enormous protection.

See my review on the TCL75. I bought both sizes. The TCL65 fits smaller tires and the TCL75 is for larger tires. I wrote an extensive review on both on the TCL75 chock lock. Chock It and Lock IT!

Tried it on my custom rims and it fits perfectly on 235/40/18 , the car and rims are not going anywhere...
Good concept but additional theft protection recommended

Let me first say that you must research the tcl65 vs tcl70 before you order the larger model and it's to large for your trailers needs.
Excellent wheel chock and security device

I have been using this locking wheel chock for several weeks. The wheel chock works well for my Yamaha AR240, even on a very sloped driveway.
